Trash 2 Fashion Challenge
Team 17 had a challenge today to create fashion from old newspapers, be creative and work together as a team.
Our team was ME(Loretta), Akansha and Kiu. Kiu wass the model and me and Akansha were the stylist. kiu is the one in the second photo that appeared in the slide show When Mr. Wood put the whole class in groups we went out side and got straight into it but me and Akansha didn't know what to do for the dress but we just got big news paper that was part of the equipment that we got also stickers, string, and one white paper.so we got the news paper and just wrapped it around him and strapped tap around him with a paper wig on him and that was it. hope you like it.
Fantastic designs folks! I love to see your creativity. I have suggested a similar challenge to my class (but we haven't done it yet) of making a wind mill with some newspaper & sticks.
We did a similar challenge a few weeks ago - http://super7scoopers.edublogs.org/2010/10/26/wearable-arts/ We had a lot of fun and it looks like you did as well. A true sign of the impact this activity has had is in how many of you have followed up commenting and discussing each others' designs. Great comments BTW... You continue to be an inspiration Team 17! :)
