The Three Wolves and the Big Bad Pig

We are learning to read with fluency and expression. Karaka read "The Three Wolves and the Big Bad Pig" Our first story was "What do you want for dinner?" which we recorded last week.
Do you think we have improved?
Are we achieving our learning intention?

  2. You sound like you have practiced as you read the story confidently and fluently. I think the story would sound better if you read the punctuation and added more story sounds. Beware of background sounds.

Your expression was missing at the start but I thought you improved as the story developed. I feel you still need to work at using more expression so your listeners can imagine the characters.

    A great story, thank you.

  3. Hello again Mr. Wood. I just had a listen to all the different recordings, and I would say you are definately getting better. I have heared the story "The 3 little pigs and the Big bad wolf" but never the "the 3 little wolves and the big bad pig"! Sounds interesting.

What you are doing sounds like a great idea. I like the pictures aswell. Great photo, photographer. Very good.
I would love it if one of your students visited my blog. Oh, and thanks for commenting on mine, Mr. Wood.

  11. You are improving from last week. I thought it was weird because the wolves are covered in hair. I have heard of the story or the three little pigs but never the three little wolves. I thought you should be careful because I could hear you turning pages. Your expression is getting better but I know you can make it even better. You are reading more fluently except for some boys.
