Amazing Marble Tracks

Intermediate and junior classes have come to admire your science and technology projects, well done. They are creative and made to look fantastic too!

Photos and videos of your marble tracks are on this VoiceThread. There are also photos of when you explained to other classes how you planned, then made them. They show gravity pulling, and tracks pushing as the marbles rolled their way to the lowest point.

Now look at these photos and think about what you have learnt building your own marble track, and how you could have used some of the ideas other kids came up with. Some have even made changes since these photos. Comment using either text or voice on 3 different photos. Remember to use the drawing pencil too.

  1. This looks very similar to what Room 10 at Morrinsville Intermediate has been doing. Have a look at Rm10Mis.blogspot.com or find the link through our class page to theirs.

  2. Thanks for the comment Mr Wood. I am sure the students will be thrilled to read your comment. We are currently making roller coasters from paper (paper roller coasters.com). Are you also teaching the physics behind the coasters?
