The Garden Club's First Harvest
On the 19th of November 2010 the garden club got their first harvest of silverbeet.
We had 20 big bundles of silverbeet. We still have some silverbeet growing as we harvested the big silverbeet leaves. We have such a big group and have a roster for each day, lunch and morning tea.
Each garden club member took home a bundle of silverbeet, and we gave one to our principal.

How wonderful that you are growing this fabulous vegetable! How do people cook it? It would be good to share ideas of recipes amongst the group, too.

What other vegetables do you have growing?
Keep up the great work with those 'green thumbs'!
