We are Team 17, a Year 6 class at Bailey Road School in Mt Wellington, Auckland, New Zealand. Our teacher is Mr. Wood and we want to share our learning with our whānau (family) and other learners. We hope you will enjoy our blog and leave us comments.
I enjoyed reading about what you are doing at school. I find it interesting that you are making connections in reading- we are doing the very same thing at my school in New York City. We call the "what you know" schema. Thanks for telling us about the Learning Intention. That helps my understanding.
That is great that you can make a connection with what you're reading. I always find that making connections helps me understand what I'm reading so much better. There are so many things we wouldn't understand if we had no background knowledge. Keep up the great blogging!
I understand how friction causes your bike to slow down quickly, but I don't know how it makes your bike go faster. Could you explain?
