Visiting the Marae
Team 17, along with the middle syndicate visited a marae on Monday. It was a wet, grey day but we had fun and got some good photos

ReplyDeleteWe learnt about Bastion Point and how the maoris protested againest the Crown.I think that was good that they fought back at the goverment because the maoris should have their own land.

The trip was fun, wasn't it? Great photos Team 17. I remember seeing the Bastion Point occupation on the news when I was little so it was very interesting to actually be at the marae where it happened.
