Wonderful Weta
Weta by Linda
Yesterday I was riding my bike and my brother Woody found a weta. He told me to squash the bug, but I went around it and jumped off my bike to see if the weta was ok. My brother got off his bike as well and he said that the weta was dead, so I picked it up and put it in a peaceful place. The next day I took it to school.

Hi Linda
ReplyDeleteWetas are interesting insects to look at and very grotesque! Have you looked at it closely under a magnifying glass? Perhaps you could try drawing it and posting your drawing up too.
I like the way you have written what happened.
keep up the great writing.
