We are Learners and Teachers

Today some Team 17 students had a video conference on Skype with the Super 7 Scoopers in Dunedin. Mapili and Sheetel taught them how to create a quizz using PhotoPeach.

This is the PhotoPeach show we used to help our teaching.

Fonterra Science Roadshow

On Friday the Fonterra Science Roadshow came to Bailey Road School. We were dazzled with spectacular science shows and got to explore a hall filled with hands-on science experiments.

Team 17, please comment about your experiences at the the Fonterra Science Roadshow.

Team 17 Logo

Team 17 had been studying advertising and we decided we needed a logo for our class. The competition was on and we received many fantastic entries which are on our classroom wall. However after voting and class discussion Steven's design won the honor.

Our new logo for term 2 is on our wiki, blog, and as the desktop picture on our classroom computers too. Well done and thank you Steven.

Our Rocky Shore Slideshows using PhotoPeach

Team 17 learnt about PhotoPeach from the Super7Scoopers blog.

We love PhotoPeach because it is easy to use. You can add text to photos, add blank pages or even create a quiz. An easy way to comment is in the comment box at the end of each slideshow.

Please click here to see all the individual student blogs. We crave your comments!

This is Sheetel's PhotoPeach story. Sheetel has also been an excellent peer tutor, teaching students how to embed their PhotoPeach code into their blogs.
